Communication Range Test

Updated: Feb 4, 2024

One of the most frequently asked questions is how far our devices can transmit data. While we could provide a lengthy answer, we believe that seeing the test results is more effective. To that end, we conducted two range tests earlier this year.

The first test measured the longest point-to-point range without any signal hopping. The results demonstrate the impressive distance our devices can cover in this scenario.

In the second test, we tested the relay feature with three devices, and we were able to extend the range beyond 5km. This test also highlighted the importance of line-of-sight in long-range communication.

Overall, these tests showcase the capabilities of our devices and the importance of considering factors like relay feature and line-of-sight when attempting to maximize range.

We will conduct further test with new firmware soon and will keep everyone posted. Stay tuned!
