MeeBaa Mesh Messenger (M3) is a highly versatile device that can be paired with your smartphone to expand its functionality even further. Once paired, you can use your smartphone as a text input device to exchange text messages with your groups in the MeeBaa app, making it even easier to stay connected with others.
In addition to text messaging, the app also allows you to see your peers' GPS locations, relative directions, and distances with timestamps, graphically on a digital compass or a pre-downloadable map. This feature provides a quick and easy way to track the location of your group members and coordinate with them in real-time, even in areas where cellular service is not available.
The graphical display of GPS locations and other information provides an intuitive and user-friendly way to stay connected with your group, ensuring that everyone is on the same page and able to coordinate effectively. This feature is particularly useful for outdoor enthusiasts, hikers, and emergency responders who need to stay connected and coordinate their activities in challenging environments.
At launch, the MeeBaa app is currently available for Android devices only. However, support for iOS devices will be available later.
We understand that many of our customers use iOS devices, and we are working diligently to ensure that the MeeBaa app is available on all platforms as soon as possible. In the meantime, our Android app offers a powerful and versatile communication solution for users who value reliable and efficient communication.

The MeeBaa Mesh Messenger (M3) offers an impressive node-to-node range of up to 5km with line-of-sight. However, this range can be reduced by terrain complexity, such as buildings or mountains in between. Fortunately, the range can be extended with relaying nodes, which are other MeeBaa users within range.
The network range and resilience of the MeeBaa Mesh network can be improved as more devices join the network in the area. This is because each device acts as a relay, allowing the network to cover a larger area and providing redundancy in case of node failure.
A MeeBaa device on high ground, such as a mountain top, can serve as an excellent relay by establishing line-of-sight in all directions. This helps to extend the range of the network and ensures reliable communication even in challenging environments.
MeeBaa Mesh Messenger (M3) is a digital communication device that offers several advantages over analog 2-way radios. One of the most significant advantages is better sound quality, privacy, and security. Since all communications are transmitted digitally, the M3 offers better sound quality, ensuring that messages are heard loud and clear.
M3 also uses multi-hop Mesh networking technology to relay messages across devices, making it more resilient and far-reaching as more devices join the network. This ensures that communication is always available, even in challenging environments or when devices are out of range of each other.
Another significant advantage of the M3 is that it provides secure and private communication. Since all communications are transmitted digitally, only intended recipients can receive the messages, ensuring that sensitive information is kept confidential.
M3 also offers several advanced features, including text and haptic messaging, the ability to create multiple communication groups, and advanced GPS location sharing with graphical visualization of team members. These features make it an ideal choice for outdoor enthusiasts, hikers, emergency responders, and anyone who values reliable communication and advanced features.
Users can strategically place MeeBaa Mesh Messenger (M3) devices as stationary relay nodes between communication parties to extend range or bypass terrain complexity. The device's USB-C charging port allows for uninterrupted operation as a relay node when connected to a solar-panel or USB charger. A MeeBaa device placed on high ground, such as a mountaintop, is an ideal relay position, as it can establish line of sight in all directions.
M3 allows users to send various types of messages directly from the device, including voice messages, canned text messages, haptic messages (Morse code), and GPS location information. Additionally, the MeeBaa mobile app enables users to send text messages (including emojis from their smartphone keyboard) and GPS location information.
The user interface of both the MeeBaa Mesh Messenger (M3) device and mobile app is currently available in English only. However, the MeeBaa mobile app enables users to send text messages in any language that can be typed using their smartphone keyboard. To ensure proper display of text messages, the recipient will need to have the same language installed on their smartphone.
While some smartphones have the hardware and software to connect to a satellite network, they typically require the user to point the phone towards the satellite, prioritize the reason for their call, and send a short text message to rescue agencies. This service is strictly meant for emergency situations and is only available in certain markets. It is not designed to replace other two-way communications options, such as cellular service or MeeBaa Mesh Messenger (M3). M3 is specifically designed for regular voice, text messaging, and location sharing to keep groups connected when cellular service is not available.
